Por ejemplo, nuestra Demi Lovato fue galardonada con uno de los premios más importantes de la noche, el de mejor videoclip internacional del año por "Heart Attack". Además de Demi, l@s otr@s dos grandes protagonistas de la noche fueron dos personas a las que nosotr@s queremos mucho... pero ellos no se pueden ni ver: Justin Bieber y Taylor Swift. El cantante canadiense fue elegido como artista masculino favorito del año y la cantante de "Red" como artista femenina favorita. Aunque Tay sí que acudió a la gala (y participó como presentadora), Justin Bieber no pudo acudir a la misma.
